Site name:
Bahias de Huatulco National Park

Latitude/Longitude:
The park is located at the Pacific coast in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico (
15.714°N 96.195°W). The park was established in 1998 and comprises 11890 ha. Around 85% of the ~750 mm of yearly rain occurs from July to November. Vegetation mainly consists of tropical deciduous and tropical semi-deciduous forests.

Status of project:
Malaise trap sampling along a disturbance gradient, including sites within and at the periphery of Huatulco NP, collected bi-weekly in 2021 and 2022.
