SOIL OBSERVATORIES

Soil arthropods can be collected with fairly uncomplicated traps and may be obtained without setting up formal plots; they are particularly suited as a proof-of-concept for the broader diversity studies. We are keen to collaborate with researchers prepared to obtain local soil arthropod samples using a standard protocol, to work towards a worldwide sample of arthropod biodiversity of the soil.
